Step 1

You are deeply loved

God's Love

  • God knows you personally
  • His love is not earned
  • He gave His Son for you

God made you on purpose. He knows your name, your story, and every detail about you. Nothing about you is an accident.

His love is not based on what you do or how well you perform. He loves you because you are His. That love runs deeper than any mistake, fear, or failure.

The Bible says God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son. That love is for you - right where you are today.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:16

Reflect

Think about: When have you felt most loved? How does it change things to know God loves you without conditions?

Next step

Say a simple prayer: "God, help me believe You love me." Write down one way you can receive that love today.

Step 2

Sin creates a gap

Sin

  • Everyone has sinned
  • We cannot fix it alone
  • God sees and still pursues us

Sin is anything that goes against God - selfish choices, hurtful words, ignoring Him, or trying to run life on our own.

We all fall short. No one is perfect. That gap between us and God is real, and we cannot close it by trying harder or being "good enough."

The good news is that God did not leave us stuck. He made a way to bring us back to Him.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

Reflect

Think about: What weighs on your heart today? God already knows - and He still loves you.

Next step

Be honest with God in prayer about one area where you need help. You do not have to hide.

Step 3

Jesus took your place

Jesus' Sacrifice

  • Jesus lived without sin
  • He died in our place
  • He rose again - He is alive

Jesus is fully God and fully human. He lived a perfect life - the life we could not live.

On the cross, He took the punishment for our sin. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Death could not hold Him.

Because Jesus paid the price, we can be forgiven and brought close to God. This is not religion - it is rescue.

Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

Reflect

Think about: What does it mean to you that Jesus willingly died for you?

Next step

Read the Gospel accounts of the resurrection this week. Let the reality of Jesus alive sink in.

Step 4

Forgiveness is a gift

Grace

  • Salvation is a gift
  • Faith, not performance
  • Grace gives a fresh start

Grace means we receive what we do not deserve. We cannot earn salvation by being good enough or checking enough boxes.

Forgiveness is free because Jesus already paid. When we trust Him, God treats us as His own - clean, loved, and welcomed home.

Grace is not a license to ignore God. It is the power to start fresh and walk with Him one day at a time.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.

Ephesians 2:8

Reflect

Think about: Where are you still trying to earn acceptance? What would it look like to rest in grace instead?

Next step

Thank God out loud for one specific thing He has forgiven. Receive His peace instead of carrying guilt.

Step 5

You can respond today

Responding

  • Believe in your heart
  • Confess with your mouth
  • Follow Jesus daily

Faith is trusting Jesus with your life - not just agreeing with facts, but turning toward Him and following Him.

You can talk to God right now. Tell Him you believe Jesus died and rose for you. Ask Him to lead your life going forward.

Following Jesus is a daily walk. You do not need perfect words - just an honest heart ready to say yes.

If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Romans 10:9

Reflect

Think about: What is one step of faith you can take this week - prayer, reading the Bible, or telling someone about Jesus?

Next step

Pray: "Jesus, I believe You died for me and rose again. I turn to You. Lead my life." Tell a trusted friend about your decision.
