KINGDOM ("KINGDOM," "we," "us," or "our") is operated by QUAST VENTURES LLC and includes kingdomjoin.com and the KINGDOM mobile application (together, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices available to you.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Account and profile information

When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, testimony, outreach page content, language preferences, and other details you choose to provide. Authentication is handled through Clerk.

User-generated content

We collect content you create or upload, including Gospel shares, devotionals, community posts, comments, testimonies, outreach profile materials, and related metadata (such as timestamps and visibility settings).

Prayer requests and interactions

If you use the prayer wall or prayer features, we collect prayer request text, titles, visibility settings (public, friends-only, or private as available), and interactions such as prayer responses or "I prayed" actions.

Community and social data

We collect friend connections, follow relationships, invitations, and activity needed to operate community features.

Payment and order information

If you make a donation or purchase Mission Wear merchandise, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We receive transaction identifiers, order details, shipping address, and fulfillment status. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

Device and usage information

We collect device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, general location derived from IP, pages or screens viewed, and actions taken in the Service. We use PostHog for product analytics to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.

Communications

If you contact us or receive emails from us, we collect your message content, email address, and related correspondence. Transactional and notification emails may be sent through Resend.

AI-assisted features

If you use translation, assistant, or other AI-powered features, the text you submit may be processed by OpenAI to provide the requested functionality. Do not submit sensitive personal information you do not want processed for this purpose.

Location and maps

If you use the church finder or other map features powered by Apple MapKit JS, Apple may collect location and usage data according to Apple's policies. We may receive general location information you choose to share in your profile, church affiliation, or content.

2. Data Controller

For purposes of applicable data protection law, the data controller for personal information processed through the Service is QUAST VENTURES LLC, reachable at kingdomjoin.com and hello@kingdomjoin.com.

3. How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Create and manage your account and outreach profile
• Enable Gospel sharing, discipleship tools, devotionals, prayer, and community features
• Display user content according to your visibility settings
• Process donations and Mission Wear orders, including fulfillment through Printful
• Send service-related emails, notifications, and support responses
• Monitor, analyze, and improve performance, security, and user experience
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our policies

Gospel content on KINGDOM is always free. We do not use your faith-related activity to sell premium Gospel access because we do not offer paywalled Gospel content.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these situations:

• With other users: Content you post publicly, including outreach pages, public prayer requests, and community posts, is visible to others as you configure it.
• Service providers: We use trusted vendors who process data on our behalf, subject to contractual obligations. See Section 5.
• Legal and safety: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of KINGDOM, our users, or others.
• Business transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following categories of third-party providers:

• Clerk: authentication and account management
• Supabase: database, storage, and backend infrastructure
• Stripe: payment processing for donations and Mission Wear purchases
• PostHog: product analytics and usage measurement
• Printful: print-on-demand production and shipping for Mission Wear
• OpenAI: AI translation and assistant features
• Resend: transactional and notification email delivery
• Apple MapKit JS: church finder and map-related features

Each provider has its own privacy practices. We encourage you to review their policies. We share only the information necessary for them to perform services for us.

6. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention, security, or backup integrity.

Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained for analytics and improvement.

7. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
• Delete your account and associated personal information
• Export a copy of your data in a portable format where technically feasible
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

You can update much of your profile information in app settings. To request access, deletion, export, or other privacy requests, contact us at hello@kingdomjoin.com or through our contact page. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

You may opt out of non-essential analytics where required by applicable law by contacting us. Essential service and security processing will continue.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete personal information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

10. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection. Our legal bases for processing may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests (such as security and product improvement), compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required.

You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We will respond to GDPR-related requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

11. International Users

KINGDOM is operated by QUAST VENTURES LLC from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers where permitted by law.

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the Service or provide any information to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
