The Path to Salvation

A clear guide to understanding and receiving the gift of salvation.

Step 1

We all need a Savior

Recognize Your Need

  • Nobody is perfect
  • Guilt is real
  • Honesty opens the door

Deep down, we know life is not how it should be. We hurt others, we carry guilt, and we feel far from God.

The Bible is honest: no one is righteous on their own. Trying harder cannot fix what is broken inside.

Admitting our need is not weakness. It is the first step toward real hope.

There is no one righteous, not even one.

Romans 3:10

Reflect

Think about: What area of your life feels heaviest right now? God invites you to bring it to Him.

Next step

Write down one thing you need help with, then pray and ask God to meet you there.

Step 2

Salvation is found in Jesus alone

Believe in Jesus

  • Jesus is the only way
  • Trust, not perfection
  • Start where you are

Jesus is not one option among many. He is the way God made for us to be forgiven and restored.

When you trust Jesus, you are not joining a club. You are being rescued and welcomed into God's family.

Faith starts small. A honest "yes" to Jesus is enough to begin.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Acts 4:12

Reflect

Think about: What would change if you truly believed Jesus is who He says He is?

Next step

Read one Gospel chapter this week (try John 1) and ask God to help you believe.

Step 3

Turn toward Jesus and keep walking

Confess and Follow

  • Repentance is a turn
  • Baptism celebrates faith
  • Community matters

Following Jesus means turning from old patterns and choosing to walk with Him. Baptism is a public step of faith for many believers.

You do not need to have everything figured out. Discipleship is a lifelong journey with a patient, loving God.

Find other believers who can encourage you. You were not meant to follow Jesus alone.

Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.

Acts 2:38

Reflect

Think about: Who could walk alongside you as you grow in faith?

Next step

Tell one trusted person about your decision to follow Jesus, or ask a local church about baptism.
