Christ is Worth More

It’s so easy to become consumed with building something, achieving something, or becoming someone. None of those things are wrong, but they become dangerous when they matter more to me than simply knowing Christ. Paul had every reason to boast, yet he considered it all loss compared to knowing Jesus. That’s the perspective I want. I don’t want to spend my life chasing success only to realize I slowly stopped chasing Christ. I don’t want to live off yesterday’s victories or be held back by yesterday’s failures. Every day is another chance to know Him more, obey Him more, and become more like Him. One day, none of my accomplishments will matter. What will matter is whether I loved Jesus, walked with Him faithfully, and pointed others to Him. Jesus isn’t part of the goal. He is the goal.
