What Is Salvation?
Salvation is God's rescue - forgiveness, new life, and eternal hope through Jesus Christ.
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
Why we need salvation
Sin separates us from God. Every person has fallen short - not one of us can reach God on our own strength or good deeds.
The gap is real, but God did not leave us without hope. He made a way to bring us back to Himself.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
What Jesus did
Jesus lived a perfect life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He took the punishment we deserved so we could be forgiven.
Salvation is not earned - it is received by faith. When you trust Jesus, God welcomes you as His own.
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
How to respond today
You can talk to God right now. Tell Him you believe Jesus died and rose for you. Ask Him to lead your life going forward.
Following Jesus is a daily walk - but it starts with one honest step of faith.
“If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
